The Techniques We're Using

LYMPHATIC DRAINAGE

A lymphatic drainage facial is a soothing and relaxing facial massage using gentle brushing and pumping techniques to promote lymph drainage. When the lymph is properly drained the face has less swelling and can properly detox. The result is a reduction in puffiness, acne, and redness. As a beneficial side effect, your immune system is also boosted. Before treatment, some patients may experience impaired lymph drainage, where, for example, flow is obstructed or simply insufficient. When flow is obstructed or too slow, lymphatic fluid (lymph) accumulates in the tissue resulting in swelling in the affected area, and this can irritate the skin. When fluid builds up like this it can cause discomfort, puffiness and a dull complexion.

GUA SHA

The 700+ year old practice has roots in traditional Chinese medicine, and has been used both as a type of family folk medicine as well as in clinical practice by licensed acupuncturists and in Chinese-style bodywork. Facial gua sha is a form of gentle self-massage adapted from the traditional Chinese medicine technique that entails using a flat stone with specific strokes to help the skin with its natural healing processes. Ideally, the gua sha tool is a stone that's been designed to suit the contours of the face. The foundational practice of gua sha involves slow, steady strokes that can create the appearance of lift, tone, clarity, and brightness in the face both immediately, and with enhanced results over time.

MICROCURRENT

Microcurrent technology is a noninvasive therapy that sends out a low-voltage current that is similar to the natural electrical currents in the body. Microcurrent stimulates energy production to drive the creation of collagen and elastin in the skin. This can result in toned, tighter skin that gives the face a more "lifted" appearance. Microcurrent stimulates skin all the way down to the muscle for an immediate improvement in facial contouring, toning and tightening, as well as an improvement in skin radiance. Over time, the skin becomes more taut and toned, texture becomes brighter, and overall the skin is smoother and more plump.

CONNECTIVE TISSUE MASSAGE

Connective Tissue Massage is a very distinctive and unique sensory experience. No oils or cremes or lotions are applied to the body. The practitioner's contact is generally broad, slow, and always intentional. The approach is intense but not painful, which allows your body to relax during the session.

EAR SEEDING

Ear seeding, which is sometimes called auricular acupressure, is a noninvasive technique that stimulates pressure points on the ear. The goal is to target specific pressure points to help alleviate symptoms and improve your overall health.

While ear seeding is similar to auricular acupuncture, it does not involve the use of needles. Instead, tiny seeds are placed on acupressure points on your ear to stimulate nerve pathways to your brain and prompt your body’s natural healing mechanisms to kick in. Although ear seeding may seem like a new technique to address anything from insomnia to obesity, it has actually been around for many years. Some of the earliest mentions of ear seeding date back to 221 B.C. in traditional Chinese medicine (TCM).

The Tools We're Using

OSMOSIS REVITAPEN PRO

Revitapen’s unique sphere-shaped tips gently create micro-channels in the skin, allowing Osmosis high-dose active ingredients to be driven deep for optimal skin restoration. Vitamin A is the best anti-aging ingredient we can offer our skin and Osmosis utilise the most active, least irritating and non-acid form: Retinaldehyde.

DIAMOND TIP MICRODERMABRASION

Diamond tip microdermabrasion is a minimally invasive treatment that professionally exfoliates the skin by removing dead, uneven layers of skin. This method of microdermabrasion uses a diamond tipped instrument to lightly abrade the top layers of skin and bring new, radiant skin to the surface. During the treatment, a diamond tipped wand is gently sanded across the skin surface exfoliating the epidermis (top skin layer), as a suction device reabsorbs the dead skin cells. This treatment is used to encourage the body to stimulate collagen production and mechanically abrade the skin surface. It will also help to remove old damaged cells and encourage new cell growth. Diamond tip microdermabrasion can help with fine lines & wrinkles, uneven skin tone, acne scars, and uneven skin texture.

LAMPROBE

The discomfort level experienced by the client is tolerable, with the sensation produced feeling much like a tight pinch to the skin. Sensitive skins, thin skins, and aging skins can also be comfortably treated and intensity settings can adjust easily. No anesthesia is required.

FACIAL CUPPING

Cupping is an alternative therapy that uses suction cups to stimulate your skin and muscles.
